Magic in the air

The pretty whitewashed houses and cottages grouped around the saltwater pool, the beautiful garden, the rustic open-air lounge reminiscent of the Carribbean. And finally the astounding panoramic view, Faro and the Ria Formosa natural reserve to one side, the resort of Vilamoura to the other..

New owners since August 2024,  for us Monte Borboleta was love at first sight. Since then we have welcomed scores of guests, drawn from all over Europe, sharing their delight when they encounter this magical place.  Despite the renowned Algarve attractions a short drive away, many are happy to pass whole days simply relishing the ambient calm that distinguishes this fabulous mountaintop retreat..
